A Seat

at the

Table

Welcome to The Writers Room, a script-to-screen workshop designed for emerging storytellers ready to write (and pitch) an original short film.

Over 8 weeks, you’ll join a small, intimate group of writers led by a professional screenwriter, working together to refine your story, sharpen your format, and build a short film script that’s actually ready to go somewhere.

And when you’re done? You’ll pitch it — directly to Slight Breeze Studios for development consideration.

In 8 weeks, you will have…

A Production-Ready Script

Walk away with a fully developed, professionally formatted short film script (5–15 pages) that's ready to be pitched or produced.

A Supportive Writers Room Experience

Write, revise, and grow in a space where your voice is seen, heard, and sharpened — no gatekeeping, just guidance.

Pitch Training + Final Pitch Session

Craft a 5-minute pitch you can take beyond this workshop — to studios, contests, or your own team.

An Opportunity to Be Greenlit

Pitch your short to Slight Breeze Studios at the end of the workshop. Selected scripts will be considered for in-house production.

Feedback That Moves Your Script Forward

Get real-time notes and insight from a working screenwriter and guest pros who want your story to win.

This is a frequently asked question?

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

“I built the Writers Room because I know what it’s like to have a dope idea and no roadmap. This space is about showing up for writers who are ready to tell real stories, sharpen their skills, and finally get that script off the ground — with filmmakers who have the same hunger and passion.
